Saberware recently developed an Order Release program that works in conjunction with Encore's Impact Accounting program.  The users felt that Impact's Order Release was too cumbersome for the way they release orders.  We developed the Order Release program using Microsoft's Visual BASIC and Seagate's Crystal Reports to release any open orders. 

But, the user ships chocolates nationwide, thus they do not want to release orders to "HOT" states.  I allow the user to select "HOT" states and those orders will not be released.

    This program checks the availability of stock on a per order basis.  The user can also designate a Geographic priority in which the orders will be released and thus what stock will be consumed first.   The user has the option to override and release partial shipments.  Once the order(s) have been released, a picking ticket is generated for picking purposes.
